Me and a good friend thought we would go to see this to recapture wonderful childhood memories from the books and animations. Sorry to say we were very let down! Voices were no where near correct and the story, well what story ?! When such a show using large puppets is performed, the audience are meant to concentrate on the puppets and not be constantly distracted by the facial contortions of the actors. Faces should have been covered and a better choice of actor’s outfit colour to blend in. And, Rabbit would never ever say ‘tomaytoes’ The characters are English not American ! One hour and two expensive tickets later we left very disheartened. Pity as there is a wealth of material that simply was ignored. Disney, you’ve done wrong !
